In how many days, 5 men, 5 women and 3 professionals can complete a work together, when 12 men complete the work in 35 days, 10 women complete the same work in 45 days and 5 professionals complete the same work in 21 days?

Time taken by $5 men$ in doing work $=\frac{12 \times 35}{5}$ $=84$ days

$\left[M_{1} D_{1}=M_{2} D_{2}\right]$

Time taken by 5 women $=\frac{10 \times 45}{5}=90$ days

Time taken by 3 professionals $=$ $\frac{5 \times 21}{3}=35$ days

$\therefore$ (5men +5 women +3 professionals)’s 1 day’s work $=\frac{1}{84}+\frac{1}{90}+\frac{1}{35}$ $=\frac{15+14+36}{1260}=\frac{65}{1260}$

$\therefore$ Time taken $=\frac{1260}{65}=\frac{252}{13}=19 \frac{5}{13}$ days
