Correct Answer: (3)

Solution: (3)

Two numbers respectively $=4 x$ and $5 x$

When 4 is subtracted,

$\frac{4 x-4}{5 x-4}=\frac{3}{4} $

$\Rightarrow 16 x-16$ $=15 x-12 $

$\Rightarrow 16 x-15 x = 16-12$

$\Rightarrow x=4$

The respective numbers =16 and 20

The new ratio $=(16+6):(20+6)=22: 26$ $=11: 13$
