Correct Answer: (3)

Solution: (3)

D’s present age $=35-6=29$ years

$\therefore$ C’s present age $=2 \times 29$ $=58$ years

$\therefore$ A’s present age $=58+7$ $=65$ years

A’s age $=3 x$ years

B’s age $=2 x$ years

$\therefore 3 x+5=65$

$\Rightarrow 3 x=65-5=60$

$\therefore x=\frac{60}{3}=20$

$\therefore$ B’s present age $=(2 x+5)$ years $=(2 \times 20+5)$ years $=45$ years
