Correct Answer: (4)

Solution: (4)

Out of 240 students,

Number of boys $=\frac{2}{3} \times 240$ $=160$

Number of girls $=80$

Students who opted for football $=240-100=140$

$\therefore$ Girls who opted for football $=\frac{140-106}{2}$ $=\frac{34}{2}=17$

$\therefore$ Boys who opted for football $=106+17=123$

$\therefore$ Boys who opted for cricket $=160-123=37$

$\therefore$ Girls who opted for cricket $=100-37=63$
