Correct Answer: (3)

Solution: (3)

$A: B=3: 4$

A : $C=1: 2=3: 6$

$\therefore A: B: C=3: 4: 6$

According to the question,

After 6 years,

Sum of ages of A, B and C $=96$

$\Rightarrow 3 x+4 x+6 x+18=96$

$\Rightarrow 13 x=96-18=78$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{78}{13}=6$

$\therefore$ A’s present age $=3 x$ $=3 \times 6=18$ years
