Answer: (2)

Solution: (2)

Let the investment in each scheme be Rs. $x$.

S.I. $=\frac{\text { Principal } \times \text { Time } \times \text { Rate }}{100}$

According to the question,

$\frac{x \times 3 \times 6}{100}-\frac{x \times 2 \times 8}{100}=97$

$\Rightarrow \frac{18 x}{100}-\frac{16 x}{100}=97$

$\Rightarrow \frac{2 x}{100}=97 $

$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{50}=97$

$\Rightarrow x=$ Rs. $(97 \times 50)$

$\therefore$ Interest got from scheme A $=\frac{18 x}{100}=$ Rs. $\left(\frac{18 \times 97 \times 50}{100}\right)$ $=$ Rs. 873
