Answer: (1)

Solution: (1)

Five consecutive odd numbers

$\Rightarrow x, x+2, x+4, x+6$ and $x+8$

$\therefore x+x+2+x+4+x+6+x$ $+8=195$

$\Rightarrow 5 x+20=195$

$\Rightarrow 5 x=195-20=175$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{175}{5}=35$

$\therefore$ Second lowest number $=35+2=37$

$\therefore$ Second highest even number $=37+9=46$

$\therefore$ Second lowest even number $=42$

$\therefore 40 \%$ of $42=\frac{42 \times 40}{100}=16.8$
