Solution: 3. (1) Monthly increase in salary of Varun
$=\frac{7800 \times 12}{100}=₹ 936$
$\therefore$ New monthly salary of Varun
$=6400+936=₹ 7336$
$\therefore$ Required income $=4 \times 7336$
$=₹ 29344$
