Correct Answer: (4)

Solution: (4)

Side of square $=x $ cm

Length of rectangle $=(x+4) cm$

Breadth of rectangle $=(x-3) cm$

$\therefore(x+4)(x-3)=x^{2}$

$\Rightarrow x^{2}+4 x-3 x-12=x^{2}$

$\Rightarrow x-12=0 $

$\Rightarrow x=12$

$\therefore$ Perimeter of rectangle $=2$ (length + breadth)

$=2(x+4+x-3)$

$=2(2 x+1)=4 x+2$

$=4 \times 12+2=50 cm$
