The cost of fencing a square field (S1) at the rate of Rs. 11 per metre is $10 \%$ more than the cost of fencing another square field $\left(S_{2}\right)$ at the rate of Rs. 25 per metre. The side of S1 is what percent more than that of S2?

Side of square field $\left(S_{1}\right)$ $=x$ metre
Side of square field $\left(S_{2}\right)$ $=y$ metre
According to the question,
$11 \times$ Perimeter of $S_{1}$ $=\frac{110}{100} \times 25 \times$ Perimeter of $S_{2}$
$\Rightarrow 11 \times 4 x=\frac{55}{2} \times 4 y$
$\Rightarrow 2 x=5 \underline{y}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{y}=\frac{5}{2}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{x}{y}-1=\frac{5}{2}-1$
$\Rightarrow \frac{x-y}{y}=\frac{5-2}{2}=\frac{3}{2}$
$\therefore$ Required percent $=\frac{x-y}{y} \times 100$ $=\frac{3}{2} \times 100=150 \%$
