Solution: (1)
Required area $=\frac{\theta}{360^{\circ}} \times \pi r^{2}$
$=\frac{90 ^{\circ}}{360 ^{\circ}} \times \pi r^{2}$
$=\frac{1}{4} \times \frac{22}{7} \times 14 \times 14$
$=154 sq$. metre
