Correct Answer: (1)

Solution: (1)

$\triangle AEC \cong \triangle EFC$

$B$ is the mid-point of EC.

$\therefore BE=BC=10 cm$

$\therefore EC=20 cm$

$BE=BF=10 cm$

$\therefore$ Area of $\triangle EFC$ $=\frac{1}{2} \times EC \times BF$

$=\frac{1}{2} \times 20 \times 10=100$ sq. cm.
