Directions : In these questions two equations numbered I and II are given. You have to solve both the equations and give answer

Solution: (5) I. $x^{2}+10 x+24=0$ $\Rightarrow x^{2}+4 x+6 x+24=0$

$\Rightarrow x(x+4)+6(x+4)=0$

$\Rightarrow(x+6)(x+4)=0$

$\Rightarrow x=-6$ or -4

II. $y^{2}-\sqrt{625}=0$

$\Rightarrow y^{2}=\sqrt{625}=25$

$\Rightarrow y= \pm 5$
