Solution: (4) I. $6 x^{2}+11 x+5=0$
$\Rightarrow 6 x^{2}+6 x+5 x+5=0$
$\Rightarrow 6 x(x+1)+5(x+1)=0$
$\Rightarrow(6 x+5)(x+1)=0$
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{-5}{6}$ or -1
II. $2 y^{2}+5 y+3=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 y^{2}+2 y+3 y+3=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 y(y+1)+3(y+1)=0$
$\Rightarrow(y+1)(2 y+3)=0$
$\Rightarrow y=-1$ or $\frac{-3}{2}$
Clearly, $x \geq y$
