$\Rightarrow 2 x^{2}-6 x-5 x+15=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 x(x-3)-5(x-3)=0$
$\Rightarrow(2 x-5)(x-3)=0$
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{5}{2}$ or, 3
II. $2 y^{2}-11 y+14=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 y^{2}-4 y-7 y+14=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 y(y-2)-7(y-2)=0$ $\Rightarrow(2 y-7)(y-2)=0$
$\Rightarrow y=\frac{7}{2}$ or, 2
