Solution: (5) I. $x^{2}+30 x+81=0$
$\Rightarrow x^{2}+27 x+3 x+81=0$
$\Rightarrow x(x+27)+3(x+27)=0$
$\Rightarrow(x+3)(x+27)=0$
$\Rightarrow x=-3$ or -27
II. $y^{2}-9 y-162=0$
$\Rightarrow y^{2}-18 y+9 y-162=0$
$\Rightarrow y(y-18)+9(y-18)=0$ $\Rightarrow(y-18)(y+9)=0$
$\Rightarrow y=18$ or -9
