Answer: (4)
Solution: (4)
In jar A,
Milk $=\frac{80 \times 80}{100}=64$ litres
Water $=16$ litres
In jar B,
Total quantity $=x$ litres
Milk $=\frac{60 x}{100}=\frac{3 x}{5}$ litres
Water $=\frac{2 x}{5}$ litres
According to the question,
$\frac{64+\frac{3 x}{5}}{16+\frac{2 x}{5}}=\frac{5}{2} \Rightarrow \frac{320+3 x}{80+2 x}=\frac{5}{2}$
$\Rightarrow \frac{320+3 x}{40+x}=5$
$\Rightarrow 200+5 x=320+3 x$
$\Rightarrow 5 x-3 x=320-200$
$\Rightarrow 2 x=120 \Rightarrow x=60$ litres
$\therefore$ Quantity of milk in jar C
$=\left(\frac{3 x}{5}+64\right)$ litres $=\left(\frac{3 \times 60}{5}+64\right)$ litres
$=(36+64)=100$ litres
