When two dice are rolled, find probability of getting a greater number on the first dice than the one on the second, given that the sum should equal 6 .

Total no. of ways to get a sum equal to 6 on the two dice are 5 i.e;
$(1,5),(5,1),(2,4),(4,2),(3,3)$
Out of these only in 2 cases the number on the first dice is greater than the one on the second dice
$\therefore \quad$ Required probability $=\frac{2}{5}$
