Let the number be $x$.
$\therefore \frac{4 x}{5}-\frac{x}{5}=2499$
$\Rightarrow \frac{3 x}{5}=2499$
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{2499 \times 5}{3}=4165$
$\therefore 4165 \times \frac{2}{7}=1190$
