Assuming that there has been no other change in the family structure and all the people are alive, what is the difference in the age of the daughter and the daughter-in-law?

Solution: (1)
Five years ago age of father + mother + son + daughter = $94$ years
Sum of the present age of father + mother + son + daughter $=94+20=114$ years
Daughter replace by Daughter-in-law , now
Father + Mother + Son + Daughter-in-law $=92$ years
Required difference between daughter $\&$ daughter in law $=114-92=22$ years
