Let the number be $x$.
$\therefore 25 x^{2}+15 x+2=0$
$\Rightarrow 25 x^{2}+10 x+5 x+2=0$
$\Rightarrow 5 x(5 x+2)+1(5 x+2)=0$
$\Rightarrow(5 x+2)(5 x+1)=0$
$\Rightarrow x=-\frac{2}{5}$ or $-\frac{1}{5}$ $=-0.4$ or $-0.2$
$\therefore$ largest number $=-0.2$
