The sum of three consecutive odd numbers and three consecutive even numbers together is 231 . The difference between the smallest odd number and the smallest even number is 11 . What is the sum of the largest even number and the largest odd number?

Let, consecutive odd numbers $\Rightarrow x-2, x$ and $x+2$

Let, connsecutive even numbers $\Rightarrow y-2, y$ and $y+2$

According to the question,

$3 x+3 y=231 \Rightarrow 3(x+y)=231$

$\Rightarrow x+y=\frac{231}{3}=77$

Again, $(y-2)-(x-2)=11$

$y-x=11$

Adding equations (i) and (ii)

$2 y=88 \Rightarrow y=44$

From equation (i),

$x+44=77$

$\Rightarrow x=77-44$ $=33$

Sum of the largest even number and odd number $=x+2+y+2$ $=46+35=81$
