Give answer (4) if Quantity $1 \leq$ Quantity 2
Give answer (5) if Quantity $1=$ Quantity 2 or relationship cannot be established

- Consider the following equations
Quantity 1: Values of $x$ :
$4 x^{2}+16 x+15=0$
Quantity 2 : Values of $y$ :
$2 y^{2}+15 y+28=0$

Solution: 91. (5) Quantity-1 :
$4 x^{2}+10 x+6 x+15=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 x(2 x+5)+3(2 x+5)=0$
$\Rightarrow(2 x+3)(2 x+5)=0$
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{-3}{2}$ or $\frac{-5}{2}=-1.5$ or -2.5
Quantity - 2 :
$2 y^{2}+8 y+7 y+28=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 y(y+4)+7(y+4)=0$
$\Rightarrow(y+4)(2 y+7)=0$
$\Rightarrow y=-4$ or, $-\frac{7}{2}$
