Correct Answer: (1)

Solution: (1)

It is given,

$r+h=30$ metre

Total surface area of cylinder $=2 \pi r(r+h)$

$\therefore 2 \pi r(r+h)=2640$

$\Rightarrow 2 \times \frac{22}{7} \times r \times 30=2640$

$\Rightarrow r=\frac{2640 \times 7}{2 \times 22 \times 30}=14$ metre

$\therefore h=30-14=16$ metre

$\therefore$ Volume of cylinder $=\pi r^{2} h$

$=\left(\frac{22}{7} \times 14 \times 14 \times 16\right)$ cu. metre

$=9856 cu$. metre
