Region of lawn in which synthetic grass is to be planted
$=\frac{3}{4} \times 18 \times 18$ $=243$ sq. metre
$\therefore$ Required rate $=\frac{\text { Total cost }}{\text { Area }}=\frac{3159}{243}$ $=$ Rs. 13 per sq. metre
