Correct Answer: 43.(5)

Solution: (5) I. $7 x^{2}+12 x+5=0$

$\Rightarrow 7 x^{2}+7 x+5 x+5=0$

$\Rightarrow 7 x(x+1)+5(x+1)=0$

$\Rightarrow(x+1)(7 x+5)=0$

$\Rightarrow x=-1$ or, $-\frac{5}{7}$

II. $3 y^{2}+7 y+2=0$

$\Rightarrow 3 y^{2}+6 y+y+2=0$

$\Rightarrow 3 y(y+2)+1(y+2)=0$

$\Rightarrow(y+2)(3 y+1)=0$

$\Rightarrow y=-2$ or, $-\frac{1}{3}$
