Correct Answer: 21.(3)
Solution: (3) I. $2 x^{2}-13 x+18=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 x^{2}-4 x-9 x+18=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 x(x-2)-9(x-2)=0$
$\Rightarrow(x-2)(2 x-9)=0$
$\Rightarrow x=2$ or, $\frac{9}{2}$ II. $2 y^{2}-19 y+45=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 y^{2}-10 y-9 y+45=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 y(y-5)-9(y-5)=0$
$\Rightarrow(2 y-9)(y-5)=0$
$\Rightarrow y=\frac{9}{2}$ or, 5
Clearly, $x \leq y$
