$\Rightarrow 2 x^{2}+10 x+9 x+45=0$

$\Rightarrow 2 x(x+5)+9(x+5)=0$

$\Rightarrow(2 x+9)(x+5)=0$

$\Rightarrow x=-\frac{9}{2}$ or, -5

II. $2 y^{2}+11 y+12=0$

$\Rightarrow 2 y^{2}+3 y+8 y+12=0$

$\Rightarrow y(2 y+3)+4(2 y+3)=0$

$\Rightarrow(y+4)(2 y+3)=0$

$\Rightarrow y=-4$ or, $\frac{-3}{2}$
