Correct Answer: 15.(4)
Solution: (4) I. $4 x^{2}-8 x+3=0$
$\Rightarrow 4 x^{2}-2 x-6 x+3=0$
$\Rightarrow 2 x(2 x-1)-3(2 x-1)=0$
$\Rightarrow(2 x-3)(2 x-1)=0$
$\Rightarrow x=\frac{3}{2}$ or $\frac{1}{2}$
II. $4 y^{2}-15 y+14=0$
$\Rightarrow 4 y^{2}-8 y-7 y+14=0$
$\Rightarrow 4 y(y-2)-7(y-2)=0$
$\Rightarrow(y-2)(4 y-7)=0$
$\Rightarrow y=2$ or $\frac{7}{4}$
Clearly, $x<y$
