Solution: (1) I. $20 x^{2}+193 x+210=0$

$\Rightarrow 20 x^{2}+193 x+210=0$

$\Rightarrow 5 x(4 x+5)+42(4 x+5)=0$

$\Rightarrow(5 x+42)(4 x+5)=0$

$\Rightarrow x=\frac{-42}{5}$ or $\frac{-5}{4}$

$=8.4$ or -1.25

II. $2 y^{2}+37 y+171=0$

$\Rightarrow 2 y^{2}+18 y+19 y+171=0$

$\Rightarrow 2 y(y+9)+19(y+9)=0$

$\Rightarrow(y+9)(2 y+19)=0$

$\Rightarrow y=-9$ or $-\frac{19}{2}$

$=-9$ or -9.5
