Give answer (2) if the data in statement II alone are sufficient to answer the question, while the data in statement I alone are not sufficient to answer the question.
Give answer (3) if the data in statement I alone or in statement II alone are sufficient to answer the question.
Give answer (4) if the data in both the statements I and II are not sufficient to answer the question.
Give answer (5) if the data in both the statements I and II together are necessary to answer the question.
- In how many days will five women complete a work?
I. Two women, five boys and three men together complete the work in six days.
II. Eight women complete the same work in twelve days.

Solution: 33. (2) From statement II,
$M_{1} D_{1}=M_{2} D_{2}$
$\Rightarrow 8 \times 12=5 \times \mathrm{D}_{2}$
$\Rightarrow \mathrm{D}_{2}=\frac{8 \times 12}{5}=\frac{96}{5}$
$=19 \frac{1}{5}$ days
