Out of the number of students who like exactly 2 subjects, if the respective ratio between the number of boys and that of girls is $7: 9$, how many girls like exactly 2 subjects?

Solution: (1) Students who like exactly two subjects $=f+d+g$
$=25+35+20=80$
Boys : Girls $=7: 9$
$\therefore$ Number of girls
$=\frac{9}{16} \times 80=45$
