Solution: (5) Students from class VI who participate only in dance
$=500 \times \frac{15}{100} \times \frac{80}{100}$
$=60$
Students who participate only in play
$=\frac{500 \times 8}{100}-15=40-15=25$
$\therefore$ Required ratio $=60: 25$
$=12: 5$
