What is the average number of bi-fold wallets sold by stores B, $C$ and $E$ ?

Solution: (5) Per cent of wallets of both types sold by stores B, C and

$E=(33.5+10+23.5) \%$

$=67 \%$

Their number $=\frac{4200 \times 67}{100}$

$=2814$

Number of tri-fold wallets sold by these stores

$=(24+15+21) \%$ of 1800

$=\frac{1800 \times 60}{100}=1080$

$\therefore$ Number of two-fold wallets $=$ $2814-1080=1734$

$\therefore$ Required average $=\frac{1734}{3}$

$=578$
