Correct Answer: (1)
Solution: (1) A’s total capital contribution
$=$ Rs. $(80000+30000)$
$=$ Rs. 110000
$\therefore \quad$ Principal $=$ Rs. $(110000+$ $64000+72000)$
$=$ Rs. 246000
$\therefore$ C.I. $=P\left[\left(1+\frac{R}{100}\right)^{T}-1\right]$
$=246000\left[\left(1+\frac{20}{100}\right)^{2}-1\right]$
$=246000\left[\left(1+\frac{1}{5}\right)^{2}-1\right]$
$=246000\left(\frac{36}{25}-1\right)$
$=246000 \times \frac{11}{25}=$ Rs. 108240
