(5) None of these
Show Answer
Correct Answer: (2)
Solution: (2) Total students in Lucknow
$=\frac{96000 \times 16}{100}=15360$
Males $\Rightarrow \frac{5}{8} \times 15360=9600$
Females $\Rightarrow \frac{3}{8} \times 15360=5760$
Total students in Kolkata
$=\frac{96000 \times 9}{100}=8640$
Males $\Rightarrow \frac{5}{9} \times 8640=4800$
Females $\Rightarrow 8640-4800=3840$
$\therefore$ Required ratio $=(9600+4800)$
$:(5760+3840)$
$=14400: 9600=3: 2$
