Manish bought $25 kg$ of rice at $ \text{₹} 32$ per $kg$ and $15 kg$ of rice at ₹ 36 per kg. What profit did he get when he mixed the two varieties together and sold it at $ \text{₹} 40.20$ per kg?

C.P. of $40 kg$ of mixture $= \text{₹} [(25 \times 32)+(15 \times 36)]$

$= \text{₹} (800+540)= \text{₹} 1340$

S.P. of $40 kg$ of mixture $= \text{₹} (40 \times 40.2)= \text{₹} 1608$

Profit $= \text{₹} (1608-1340)= \text{₹} 268$

Profit $\%=\frac{268}{1340} \times 100=20 \%$
